TIP #1 - CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN
Spend some time deep cleaning your home. If you are unable to do it yourself maybe you can hire someone to help you. A clean house goes a long way when you are trying to sell your home.
** Make your kitchen sparkle. All dishes should be washed and put away, wipe down all cabinets, make the appliances shine inside and out(don't forget the microwave & oven), clean and wipe out the refrigerator, organize the pots & pans, organize and clean the kitchen drawers, pantry and cabinets.
** Bathrooms must be fresh. Counter tops & toilets should be clean at all times. Wash the shower curtains, scrub the shower/tub, grout & floors.
** Dust all furniture, shelves, pictures, cabinets.
** Make your wood/ceramic floors shine.
** Clean your windows, including the tracks.
** Dust the blinds and wash the curtains.
** Wipe down all trim & baseboards.
** Wash your bed linens and make your beds.
** Vacuum and steam clean your carpets.
** Dust the ceilings fans.
** Clean the interior and exterior of all doors, including the glass.
** Organize the laundry room and put all laundry away.
** Don't forget the basement & garage!
